same old same old - our away support never lets us down its the home support thats the problem - the day thats loud ill fucking cut off myy balls with a rust knife - luckily and unfortunately i wont ever have to do that.

It has been loud at home, it just only happens once a year or so. Man Utd last season was loud for the first 5 mins, Liverpool home was loud. Chelsea the season before was very loud.

As much as having the whole stand behind the goal & the fact that everyone was probably well & truly juiced up due to the late kick-off & all the pubs near the ground etc I think one of the biggest factors was the range of songs being sung. Still didn’t hear any B’Jesus & a few more new ones getting started would have been good but compared to usual it seemed like more of our “repertoireâ€

I'd guess most of the away fans also go to home games. Difference is, you're surrounded by people who don't want to sing, and force the entire stand to sit down.

I’ve long since thought the club could take a block or 2 like they did with the red section or whatever & give first refusal to away scheme members or those with a certain number of away credits etc. Wouldn’t solve everything cos they’d still face the same old problems at home that they don’t have to put up with so much away (o.t.t. stewarding etc) & a fair few still might not go if they cant afford to go home and away. But at least you’d have fans that know each other & are all like-minded when it comes to wanting to sing & so on.

Do it in the blocks near the away section. It’s not like Arsenal can use the excuse of fear of the banter developing into trouble or whatever bullshit they scare themselves shitless worrying about, cos for a start these would be fans who’ve proved themselves perfectly capable of going to grounds all around the country without any riots or the apocalypse kicking off!

Have blocks 5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 as the north bank...just for singers

and blocks 24,25,26,27 as the clock end...just for singers

Totally agree, would love to see it happen but for the club it means moving peoples season tickets and giving them the hump. I cant see them doing that, to such a large area. It is often said when you move ground you lose a little bit of the atmosphere but by the sounds of fans talking on here the club scattered the clock end and north banks season ticket holders around the ground

All i think is necessary is for 2 blocks in certain areas to be singing areas, which red,silver can also buy tickets in.

So you would have 2 blocks 5&6, 11&12, 23&24 and do the same thing in the upper tier so therefore you have groups of fans who want to sing located around different parts of the stadium to help create an atmosphere.

Like " It's up for grabs now" said, allocating a block where away scheme members and fans with away credits could sit together would also help. I am on the away scheme and a lot of the fans i see and talk to week in week out dont go to home games because they do not enjoy the experience, and so dont pay money to go to home games.

I also dont agree with the fact you can be on the away scheme, go week in week out up and down the country and then at home games, get no priority. For example i went to 20+ away games last year, 15+ home games, but as i am only a red member, when it came to manure at home in the champs league i could go to the away game but could not get a ticket for the home one?

Like i said on the fulham away thread, the players, board must wonder why is our support so good at a london away game and shocking at home, and only with there assistance can we do something about it.

I've just won a bet with myself - predicted a "suck our own cocks because the away support is so great and the home support is so shit" thread.

Don't think much has changed - away games are better for atmosphere than home, has always been the same - and some away are better than others. Quite good yesterday but there are many away games that i compare Arsenal's away support to other teams at the same ground with the same allocation and we are much quieter.

We're just soft southern shite...and we know we are.
