ARSENAL are preparing a £2million bid for Osasuna full-back Cesar Azpilicueta.
The Spain Under-21 star, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, is left-footed but has mostly played on the right.
He said: "I know of rumours linking me with Arsenal but I have yet to speak with anybody from the club.
"At the moment, I can only concentrate on working with Osasuna and progressing my football."
Arsenal eye Eliaquim Mangala following Standard Liege star's audition against the Gunners
Arsene Wenger is tracking Standard Liege defender Eliaquim Mangala following an impressive recent display against Arsenal by the 17-year-old defender.
The centre-half opened the scoring when the two teams met in the Champions League on September 16 and was widely acknowledged as the Belgian club's best player during their 3-2 defeat.
Mangala has also been watched by Alain Boghossian, assistant to France head coach Raymond Domenech, with a view to a call-up for his country despite his tender years.
Meanwhile, Holland Under 17 international Oguzhan Ozyakup has signed professional terms with Arsenal after coming through a two-year scholarship since signing from AZ Alkmaar.
The midfielder only turned 17 on Wednesday, but he had already broken into the north London club's Under 18 side last season, scoring four goals in 12 appearances.
Arsenal still want Patrick Vieira and Arsene Wenger has Tim Cahill on his radar

Despite Arsene Wenger's insistence last week that he would not be pressurised into spending the £40million sitting in his transfer fund, plans are advanced for the January transfer window, with a number of signings expected.
The return of Inter Milan's Patrick Vieira, mooted in the summer but eventually dismissed by Wenger, is back on the agenda.
With Cameroon's Alex Song at the Africa Cup of Nations in January, Vieira may yet earn his dream return to Arsenal as temporary cover and would provide valuable leadership in the months of the season when the trophies are decided.
Bolton's Gary Cahill is also being monitored closely, though with Manchester United interested in the centre-half, Wenger will steer clear if a bidding war develops.
Bolton manager Gary Megson is insistent Cahill won't be sold until the end of the season and the club will expect £20m for the defender. Arsenal won't pay that but Wenger needs cover for William Gallas and Thomas Vermaelen.
Arsenal have scoured the continent but come up blank, with Juventus's Giorgio Chiellini admired but ruled out for now as, like Vermaelen, he is left footed and Wenger does notwant two left-sided players at the heart of defence.
Bordeaux's Marouane Chamakh is ready to come as the replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor.
PATRICK VIEIRA looks poised to finally return to Arsenal on an 18- month deal in January.
The Gunners legend was lined up for a move back to London in the summer but the club didn't get the £750,000 fee to Inter Milan before the deadline.
The France midfielder, who was also wanted by Spurs, even passed a medical at the Emirates.
Vieira, 33, is desperate for a move away from the San Siro after becoming a bit-part player behind the likes of Dejan Stankovic, Esteban Cambiasso, Javier Zanetti and Sulley Muntari.
He has also been left out of the France squad recently and wants to force his way back into Raymond Domenech's plans ahead of next summer's World Cup.
Arsenal have offered him around £70,000-a-week to make the emotional return and act as an inspiration to the club's youngsters.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger said: "Patrick was an amazing, fantastic player for us. For me, he is perfect for every team. We are very young and it is difficult to win with a young team."
Vieira was an integral part of the Invincibles side that went unbeaten throughout the entire 2003-4 season.
KLAAS JAN HUNTELAAR... thank god we didn't buy him! I've been watching Serie A lately and his performances (when ever he came off the bench) have been BAD! He is too slow, no technique, no imagination... he is your typical tap in striker with a big name. Van Persie is everything Huntelaar doesn't have. Only Ibrahimovic and maybe Berbatov has comparable technique to RVP as target men.
