moving on is hard to do.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The fact is that the emotional ties were broken by the club when they sold the season tickets for the Grove. Part of the reason for the lack of " atmosphere "and the difficulty in accepting our new home is the resentfulness felt by so many displaced people. I was a north bank person and now sit amongst mainly Clock enders and whilst we all want the same outcome we are only just beginning to accept and join in with each other. As time goes by hopefully we can fully integrate but don't expect people to lose the attachment to Highbury it goes back too far.

...and Highbury Square still leaves us with the memories. It could have been a refuse tip...

A trophy or two and all those frustrations will be lifted, it just seems like a millstone round our necks and until we win something it will continue to gnaw away at us!

Hopefully this season will bring long awaited success......

I really hope so, as I'm tired of all the crap we get off the away fans that come.
