i was a bit underwhelmed when i first got it out of the box as it played very similar to 09, but after a few games and a go on manager mode the subtleties of the new game play came through. there seems to be a lot of variation in the goal-scoring as well, especially with arshavin!

anyone else notice that nasri gets a lot of stick from the commentary or is it just me being shit with nasri?

I've played FIFA since about 95, this is the most difficult. I'm considering turning it down from Professional

Which console are you guys playing on? I have a PS3 and am debating getting FIFA 10 after years of loyal Pro Evo patronage.

pro evo has stagnated, fifa is the better product now. they have improved the 'realism' that the fifa franchise lacked but it also kept the fun-times gameplay. and the crowd noises on pro evo just do my fucking head in so i'd buy fifa just for that.

The "sliding" across the pitch movement of the players on FIFA always put me off - I take it they have finally addressed that issue?

Have to agree that Pro Evo (as great as it is/was) has totally stagnated... :(

Yeah I have always been a massive PES fan and would pick it over FIFA everytime...but this year I am tempted to get FIFA. I downloaded both the demos on PS3 and FIFA is better, if it wasn't for having to use the stick I'd get it today !

Here's a thought (although may have been done) anyone fancy online PES 2009 or 2010 when the new one comes out ? We could start an Online Gooner league ? (again apologies if this has been done/is being done..in which case I'd like some of the action please)
