Emmanuel Eboue

Given Wenger's love of making money money out of players he bought for sheckles, I would suggest that Arsene would have snatched Fiorentina's hand off if they really did offer £7 million!

I did boo Ebooue that day and I think rightfully so. How many of you have booed an opposition player for cheating.........a fair few I would say? I dislike Eboue because he is a cheat and when you are a serial cheater and then top it off with a performance like he did that day then I feel fully justified in my actions that day. Not only was it a horrendous display that game, he had been between awful and shocking for months beforehand.

Eboue is not a shit player, he is simply not of Arsenal standard. I agree that he has upped his game this season, and to an extent the end of the last, but that does not justify his constant inclusion in the squad let alone the team. I do agree that he is an adequate deputy for Sagna but that is it. As for an attacking wide player, oh please. So much breaks down around him it is unreal, he chooses the wrong option more often than not and let's now consider his goalscoring record..............that didn't take long did it.

As for all this being the team joker stuff that is great but if we wanted someone in the squad simply on the basis of thir sense of humour then surely we would sign Harry Hill or Jack Dee? Personally I couldn't give a fuck about what he is like in the dressing room as I don't get to see that but I do get to see what is on the pitch and more often than not Eboue has let me down with either his performance or his seemingly incurable want to cheat., often both at the same time.

I do also blame Wenger for the Eboue situation. He obviously wasn't 100% happy with him as a full back or he wouldn't have bought Sagna. On the day he got booed Wenger was at fault for bringing on Eboue to play left midfield for reasons only known to himself.

I am not jumping on the band wagon when I judge Eboue as I like to think I can assess players for myself. For this reason I like Song as a player when it seems fashionable to not like him and I am not Clichy's greatest fan when he is a crowd favourite.

I think I would be a lot more tolerant of Eboue's shortcomings as a player if he wasn't a blatant cheat who has embarrassed not only himself but our club far too often to be ignored.

Thankfully, Eboue was left on the bench today.

Without his "contribution" we won a match in great style.

You'd think the man would be happy for the club and his team mates.

I saw his face at the end of the game. He was NOT smiling. He looked like a spoilt child who had his sweets taken off him.

When the 6th goal went in the camera showed the Arsenal bench everyone was celebrating except Eboue who had his tracksuit pulled over his face.As you said olgit he look like a spoilt child.

Now Theo is fit lets hope thats the end of Eboue getting playing time

Eboue has probably taken the most stick out of the current squad and at times i will grant you he has been a bit of a joke! but i would like to give the man some major credit. After last season when he left the pitch to a chorus of Boos i wondered if that would be the end of him at Arsenal, having your own fans turn on you must be the worst feeling in football?

The lad got his head down, worked very hard and got himself back in contention, this shows he has real character, not only this but recently his performances have been nothing short of excellent, when he comes on he is always nice and positive, links up well and causes the opposition problems.

He has played at right back a few times this season and have to say that at this moment he would be ahead of Sagna, his defensive game has improved massively, he is playing with some confidence now and seems assured in everything he does, he had a great game there on tuesday, plus he offers far more going forward, and with this formation, support from the full backs is important, his crossing is better than Sagnas for a start, but i like the way he doesnt always look to sweep it into the box, he tries to play football and looks for the pass inside or tries to get to the line.

I personally think he should be given a little run at full back as he is looking better all the time, he absolutely loves playing for Arsenal too, you can see that, it means an awful lot to him, and unlike his mate who went to City he has realised his performances were below par and gone about improving that and showing the fans what he can really do. It seems he is well liked around the club too, all the players say he is funny and always up to things, so its good to have someone like that around!

The one thing he does need to do is learn to keep his head a bit more when he gets into the box as he tends to snatch at the ball a bit, but other than this he is doing well

Right, ive finished now, you can tell me im mad if you want?

:barscarf:

Old old ground this...

For what it's worth I despise Eboue because he is a seriel cheat. A repeat diver and actor. He defines everything that is wrong with the modern footballer; a spoilt, petulant, cheating, diving, whining fuckwit.

As a player he is average at his best, absolutely hopeless at his worst. He is not good enough to be a regular first choice in a PL team looking to win the title. He has improved as a player since last year but that only brings him up to average level in my book; at best he is a reasonable short term stand in for Sagna.

I can accept a player not being world class if they try hard and act like a man. But when I see Eboue diving and pretending to be hurt after nearly every single tackle, with that whining persecution-complex look on his face, it makes my blood boil.

Another issue for me is the moral high ground here too. For years I've given loads to the local armchair manure fans about diving cheating crunts like Rooney, Ronaldo and VanLongface. They never had anything to come back with. Now they do.

Eboue is an embarrassment to our club.

Barcelona eye move for Eboue

BARCELONA are said to be weighing up a January move for Arsenal full-back Emmanuel Eboue.
The Spaniards need cover for Brazilian defender Dani Alves and have failed to land their first-choice target — Shakhtar Donetsk's right-back Dymtro Chygryskiy.

But reports in the Spanish press suggest Nou Camp boss Pep Guardiola has now turned his attentions to Eboue.

The 26-year-old Ivory Coast international has been in fine form for the Gunners this season — and the Catalans could launch a £7million raid for him in the next transfer window.

It's not April 1st, is it?

Why do they do that??? - why would a national paper like The Sun employ shite journalists that make zero effort to search for the facts??? - these shite "journalists" even give tabloids a bad name, and that's saying something!

They just make shit up, and yet people keep buying their fucking papers! it's nuts!

Firstly, this Chygryskiy chap who Barca have apparently "failed to sign" , DID sign for them over the summer and currently plays for Barcelona, following a big money (£22m according to some reports) move!!

Secondly, isn't he a centre back?? and NOT a right back, as The Sun are saying??

So basically, the article is saying that Barca want Eboue because they failed to sign Chygryskiy (even though they DID sign him  ) as cover for, right back, Alves (even though Chygryskiy is actually a 6'3" centre back  ) - and that's before you even start to question the logic of a £7m move for Eboue.

It's a shockingly bad article, even by The Sun's standards!
