Adebayor has revealed Arsenal's finances forced Ade out

'I talked with the coach and he told me I was one of Arsenal's best-paid players, that the club was in the red, so maybe they wouldn't be able to pay me any more - it would be better for me to go. I asked him: "Is it your choice or the club's?"

'He answered: "It's everybody's choice, from the whole club

When Wenger said "It's everybody's choice" who is he refering to? who is "everybodies choice"?. It has to be the Arsenal board because I doubt the fans would force Ade out because "the club is in the red". This has to be the lowest of the low that this board have given us. This week I have been angry about England not playing on TV but this is definitely the worst news i've read this week. It makes me sick and here we are with 2 prats who are too seflish to make a takeover and so are dragging the club back to the stone age. It's ridiculous.

If he believes that he's an idiot..he was sold because the fans didn't want him playing for us any more and he was a bad influence within the team, not to mention he wasn't doing his f*cking job well enough to deserve his old wage never mind his new one.

If it was about not being able to afford him then why did we give him the new contract in the first place, especially as we could have got more money for him before we gave him the new contract.

I'm afraid if Wenger did say that, he was being gentle with him, it was a lot easier to feed him that nonsense than tell him he was hated by the fans, was a lazy bastard and had become half the player he was before he got his wage rise.

More likely Barndoor was sold because his "efforts" last season proved to everyone that he no longer wanted to play for Arsenal.

wojciech told me that in training sessions he was pissing around half passes - being a lazy shit and then whenever he fucked up he just laughed to everyone and by the end the players werent inviting them out with them cos he just got on everyones nerves...
