I think hadareud has made THE most salient point on this thread... there is no way ANYONE at the club told that crunt that... why in God's name would they?

A). he is not good enough for us, and
B). He is now so hated that everyone at the club wanted rid of him.

So obviously it must mean we needed the money - why else would we sell such a great player and wonderful honest human being?

Could it be possible that Wenger lied to Ade - rather than telling him the truth that he was despised by the majority of fans and also some of his team-mates - when telling Ade that the reason he had to be sold was due to finances?

I don't know that wenger wouldn't tell greedy something like this, he is very personable with the players and i can see him telling him something along these lines to avoid seeming callous, indifferent.

Its not always easy telling someone face to face the whole truth especially having spent so long massaging their ego's.

I do believe the reason greedy keeps bringing up the subject is because of his huge ego and this ego has been hugely undermined by his departure.

What i can't agree on is that he isn't good enough (footballing wise) for us, on form he is as good as drogba and unplayable.

Of course he didn't put in his shift for us last season but having seen him play for city this season i would have to admit that he could get in any team in the pl.

It doesn't change my view of him as a human being cos he is 24 carat c..t
