Sunderland Away

Post by CYGooner »

Has anyone got any idea (based on previous seasons) what level sunderland away tickets will go down to? I have a season ticket but only 1 away credit. Was hoping to take someone along as well so if it would go down to red that would be great!!

I have been told its a good stadium. To be honest the main reason I'm going is to get a few more points on the ticket. What would you suggest in terms of travel? Club coach or train?

Depends really mate on how quick you want to get there. Ive never had any trouble with Travel Club but if your in a hurry to get back then getting a train would of course be quicker.

I have never thought of flying. Could be a good idea.

Train is 3.5 to 4 hrs to Sland from Kings X iirc.

Would love to go to this again, hope my mate comes through with a spare.

Sunderland V Arsenal, always one of the first games I look out for what with me best mate being a Gooner. Might be close again this season after the two draws last season.

For those travelling up who havent been before, basically just go into the town centre and find a pub- plenty have strippers and the likes on and there arent any pubs where you'll get any bother for supporting the arsenal, the two sets of fans have tended to get on in recent years so, as long as you're not a complete twat, you'll have a good time!

hopefully a good number of your lot make the trip and we can get a good atmosphere going- looking forward to it (although if you win my mate will be unbearable for months, by which time we'll have to go to the emirates  )

First fixture I look for.

Going up on Friday coming back sunday, staying in Durham. Have many mates in Peterlee and Horden.

Normally drink in The Presidential, Keanos or Sappers.

How much was the arsenal travel coaches last year for this one?
Does anyone know of any cheap ways of getting up there?

I really fancy this one but I dont think I have the funds to pay the stupid travel prices Ive seen so far
