big old night tonight on BBC2 at 10:35, what do people think of nick griffin being granted what is essentially political legitimacy by the hand of the bbc and therefore our licence fee?

I voted No.
Nick Griffin is a politician so he's no more of a *word censored* than all the rest of them. I never watch Question Time anyway so I'll be fucked if I give him my time just because he's BNP.
If he has been legitimately elected to some electoral body then democracy says he has to be given the right of air time, even if his views may be a bit dodgy.

The bbc would be in breach of its licience if they refused to grant this *word censored* an audience.
the bnp have policies all other parties are scared to have, namely the closed door policy on immigration and the removal of undesired citizens/residents illegal or not. Having *word censored* like him representing the few plays into the hands of those that agree with him but would be commiting political suicide to publically agree.
organisations like the bnp are parasitical when it comes to gaining support. If it wasn't for the current state of affairs with labour and current public opinion they wouldnb't have got half the votes they got to get them into europe.

And it's not even "shit collecting" jobs that the "I'm too sick to work brigade" turn down, they're just lazy fucks who get everything handed to them (them moan about foreign people who do the same).

You have to consider the underlying reasons why the BNP actually get any votes at all.
I reckon it's all to do with mass immigration. And very little to do with racism.
(Although they are a racists at heart, I guess).
The ordinary man or woman of this country has seen a massive increase in our population, in recent years. And it is now sky-rocketing. Check the latest forcast figures. They are frightening.
Also, many of our recent immigrants are hard criminals, who have come here because of our soft laws. For example, most of the voilent street crimes in North London are perpetrated by young Somalians. This particular group of people come from a mega-violent background in their home country. They are given leave to stay here because they claim their lives would be endangered if they returned home.
This same reason is given for people of many different countries. Whilst it may be an absolutely valid reason, in many cases, it is open to abuse.
Our prisons are overloaded. Due, in part, to foreign nationals who swell the ranks of the ne'er-do-wells.
Consequently, crimals are given short sentences. Or no sentences at all.
It's a vicious circle, which promotes criminality. And does little to protect the human rights of victims.
This country is going to rat shit. Something drastic has to be done.
Which is the reason that SOME people are lookin to the BNP for some changes which they feel are vital to the wellbeing of this country.
So I, for one, will be watching tonight.

And I fought tooth and nail to prevent a workmate from being deported to Sri Lanka.
Sort our laws out. Then BNP would have no audience.

Watched it last night and thought Nick Griffin was made to look like a prize prick, this is why the anti nazi league shouldnt throw eggs and stuff at him during speeches the only way he is going to be found out is by letting him speak and shooting his views down with words.

BNP came out looking like fools. That was always going to happen.
The other politicians came across as trying to score cheap points by bashing the BNP at every opportuntiy. A simple statement deploring them at the start would have sufficed and then if they went on to talk about the real issues I would have been happier.
This is where the BBC failed. Each week Question Time picks a variety of questions from all across the political spectrum. This week almost all questions were based around BNP policy and statements.
Griffin would have I think looked more foolish answering about housing issues, benefits, unemployment and the economy as this would have exposed his limitations even more.
And it should have been Live. Pre-recorded bollocks.

Why are the BNP considered racist ? The SNP (Scots ) are considered as Nationalist i have always voted labour coz i stupidly thought they worked hard for the average law abiding people of this country now i am older i see it differently 
i dont know if i would vote BNP but if a party came along with 75% of their policies excluding the bad ones they would get my vote . By the way 20 years ago you would not even dare mention the BNP in the pub to your mates now we can openly discuss them without fear of being considered racist, i even have a black mate who is as english as i am and he likes a lot of their policies,can they really be any worse than labour ?
