Oh dont be so fucking daft!! drawing a game in the premiership doesnt mean we cant compete!

hang on a minute...Man utd lost to Burnley and Liverpool, they cant win it then can they?

Man City drew with Fulham and Villa they cant compete?!

Chelsea lost to Villa and Wigan...does that mean they cant compete?

Liverpool have lost 4, they must be out of it...

You tossers dont half over react...its pathetic, yes we dropped 2 points and yes we are all annoyed but to say we cant compete is total bollocks!

COME ON U GUNNERS!! :barscarf:
Why does being disappointed with throwing away a 2 goal lead make someone a tosser????

We should've secured 3 easy pts today. Note "should have". That's all I need to say.

3 culprit players I shan't mention; but am I disappointed with them.
No go on, who were the 3 culprits?

Same ol' rubbish, after the CL game they all came out with this shit
He said: "We will take a good lesson from this.

"We need to stay focused until the last minute, so we need to work on that.

"We can still improve in these situations, to be focused on the second ball.

"Now we need to look to the game against West Ham, and be ready for the challenge."
Bra-fucking-o! great lesson learnt. Learning at the expense of premier league points will get us no where.

I think that we need to revert back to a 442 formation if we get a couple of goals earlier in the game...more solid and can take more control in midfield with 4 in the middle of the park. Why couldnt Eboue slip back to RM, Diaby out wide left, Song & Cesc in centre, Arshavin behind RVP?

Lets not over react here (a lot to ask for some forum members I know) We're still in a pretty good position in the league, and a draw away in a london derby is hardly a catastrophe.

For me it comes down to a few things that needs addressing. Firstly CONCENTRATION. It goes out of the window at times, we never seemed to be switched on, only Clichy today played well at the back imo as he was quickest to react to the Hinse chance. More players need to be like that.

The Goalkeeper: Mannone will one day be a good keeper, but we're a side with title ambitions, can you imagine any other top team in the country trying to go for the title with a 3rd choice 21 year old? He's made mistakes, but he always will, I don't blame him, I blame the situation. Since Lehman Wenger hasn't had a decent keeper, SIGN SOMEONE!

I knew it was going to happen, we've seen this happen so many times (even when we were winning things). The only person who can't see it is Wenger. Make a sub when your 2-nil up, not at 2-2 in the 87th minute. It makes no sense. Whenever we conceed we look like falling apart, this has to be addressed, I thought they would have learnt from spurs but obv. not.

At the end of the day though its a draw, the first one this season, I'll put it down to us having a bit of a bad patch atm. Beat spurs next saturday and i'll forgive them!

I dont see anything wrong in letting off a bit of steam on here after a bad result.

i admire your optimism but do you really think that performance was good enough

It was good enough up until the point of that strange first west ham goal, and then we were only pegged back to 2-2 after a stupid penalty decision! and should have won it in injury time if it wasnt for that great save!

Its just the fact people over react so much and rush on here to post when we dont win!

I agree with you but this quote is so depressing. I really hate having Eboue and Diaby as our wingers. One is a right-back and the other is a dildo mimicker

Diaby really isnt good enough is he?

I'ld play Nasri in that position and have rosicky out wide. Diaby is just so slow at times.

@Swale Gooner
I just want to make it clear that I love this team more than anything else; and to see them losing precious points unnecessarily hurts a greater deal. I am optimistic that we will still contend, but it's also these games that we need to take seriously and know that at the end of the season, it would have made the difference.

I hope you're not all too annoyed with the fact that there are gonners that express some bit of frustration after a supposed victory. Answering your question, the 3 players were Song, Eboue and Diaby. Song, however, had a good game in the 1st half. He performed poorly in the 2nd half.

And no, I don't want these 3 players to be put at the stake; I'm just disappointed with them. I will still back them whenever they play, but performances after games are objective and not emotionally driven. Hope I made it clear.

Swale I despair of you sometimes I really do.

Strange first goal? Our Keeper fucked up, again.

Roy Walker taught me well:

Say what you see.

There's Mr Chips, what's he up to?

Yes the keeper should have turned it round the post, but it was strange, to shoot from there wasnt what was expected...but yes Mannone should have done better, but these things happen, especially when a keeper so young is thrown into the mix

Todays capitulation against one of the weakest sides in the league, to me never seemed in doubt even when 2-0 up at half time. This has been coming for weeks, lucky as fuck against fulham, a tad fortunate against another awful brum side last week, and a flattering scoreline against fat sams saddos, were all harbingers of what was to come and is yet to come.
I am in no doubt that the s***s will beat us next week, and with the chavs on the horizon we will be outside top 4 very soon, and won't be back there for the forseeable future.
Make no mistake this is a team of players who don't give a flying fuck about AFC, add to that the limited ability of certain players and you have a recipe for abject failure.
It's downhill from here on in despite what Wenger or his posse of arse licking followers believe.
