AA23 is a little genius. He has more talent that 8 of the other players in that team put together. However he aint playing well and that is obvious. He does need to work a little harder as well. But wenger needs to start using the guy properly instead of fcuking him about on the wing where he is constantly on the fringes of the game. Would any of us pick Bergkamp to play on the wing ? Would we fcuk....we would pick him in a central position (his rightful position) and play everything through him
Excellent point, he won't put up with this for much longer and will be gone after the WC unless Wenger starts using him properly.

His body language is already starting to look pissed off.

Well should is irrelevant, we are playing 4-3-3. It's not going to change.

I too find it hilarious, well tragic, when Eboue is on that far right. If I were Sagna I'd never go past him, but he does and we get exposed down the right. :banghead:

To be a manager eh?

2 things changed the game for us today imo.

1..That filthy Diamanti"s elbow into cescs throat=should have been sent off.

2..Diaby giving the free kick away for the lead up to their 1st goal.

Diaby is too hit or miss for me.

I'd buy Buffon. I don't care how much we'd have to pay for him. According to the board we have loads of money but Wenger doesn't wanna touch it. So money certainly isn't a problem. The team starts from the keeper so he is the most important player and as I said before, out of all top European sides, we've the worst number 1. It's no coincidence that Newcastle got relegated last season after they had sold Given. They had a criminal defence for ages but that guy kept them up for all those seasons. Yes, us buying Buffon will mean we are 30 millions down in our transfer kitty but hey that's what the money in the transfer kitty is for. And anyway, I'd rather have trophies rather than 30 million in the bank. A great keeper is the difference between success and failure.

Being a fellow cheeky fucker that's what I like about him. I ain't never gonna get insulted by a throw a way statement. Call me a tosser all you like, I love it. I don't recall him fucking off for a long time, for the last year at least he's been pretty constant on here.

God, it sounds like I'm having a Swale love in doesn't it?

Well if it gets cold enough......

I know I'll get some slating for this, but what about David James?

Would be cheap, world cup year so he'ld be looking to keep up his good form. He can make mistakes, but in recent years he's cut that out and is better than anything we have. Not saying we should, just that he's an option.

But honestly, I wouldn't mind us signing him but I think he has Spurs written all over him

I'll post this here as well now:

he is by his own admission Arshavin is a second striker and a winger.

He said several times that he can play out wide in a 4-3-3 and that's exactly where he's being played. We changed our formation this season and I am sure that it is partly down to getting the best out of him.

He is not being played out of position, that's just a silly idea that seems to have manifested itself on this forum for some strange reason.

Sad but true.
He´ll never buy Buffon because
a) he´s too old in his opinion
b) he´s too expensive
c) he might constitute as a threat to Wenger. He could confront Wenger with the weak spots in the team which for the world AW tries to prevent. He prefers talented but under-age players. The older AW got all the more he hesitates to sign mature top-class players.

AA23 can play almost everywhere, he is world class, but therefore he should work his ass off the pitch.

Lehmann was 33 when we signed him, Buffon is 31.
