Erm, forget reasons a, b & c... Arsenal won't sign Buffon because Juventus wouldn't sell him!
And if Buffon was available, then I'm sure Citeh would offer the world for him, so it's not even remotely feasible for Buffon to join Arsenal.

He said several times that he can play out wide in a 4-3-3 and that's exactly where he's being played. We changed our formation this season and I am sure that it is partly down to getting the best out of him.
He is not being played out of position, that's just a silly idea that seems to have manifested itself on this forum for some strange reason.
AA23 can play almost everywhere, he is world class, but therefore he should work his ass off the pitch.
I think that one of the only positives from today's match is the lesson we'll learn from it. If we go two up in our next match, it's a pretty safe bet we'll push for a third and a fourth. Why we didn't do that today and on thuesday night? It was down to complacency and arrogance, that has not been there at the start of the season.
We ate some humble pie today, and I think it's the best recipe to get us back on the horse.

I agree, we should have learned the lesson at AZ, but it didn't sting us hard enough, I guess.
At the end of thuesday game, I said to myself, "We'll qualify from the first place of this group anyway, so it's ok". After today's match I felt sick to my stomach. I bet (and hope) the players felt the same way.

I understand what you mean, and I kind of agree, but they have no right to be complacent... in fact, why would a team that has achieved fuck all be so relaxed away from home in a VITAL league game??
It beggars belief. Such a talented team, but rocks for brains.
Two errors cost us today. Say what you want about being critical on Mannone, that should have been pushed around the post, or atleast away from the 6 yard area. He had one decent game, apart from that he's been cack. At fault for the goal against Birmingham last week and Blackburn's first the week before. He needs to get Almunia between the sticks until January when hopefully he'll buy someone new. I haven't seen the penalty on replay yet but im told it was, and that they should have had one earlier. Results like this are what cost us titles. When was the last time you saw United or Chelsea throw away a 2 goal lead? We were far too cocky in the second half.

couldnt have put my feelings better myself, just got back and its completely ruined my mood, I am fed up with the predictable weakness in Arsenal that allows a 2-0 lead to go, we got exactly what we deserved this evening for not killing the game off.
