I'm not his biggest fan but what would we have done next week. and what will we do when he does get suspended - because although I don't see him as irreplaceable, he is certainly performing over and above his true level and way beyong the alternatives.

:( :(
I dare say Song was looking for the yellow card today as his suspension would have been for the Liverpool CC game midweek, and would not have any adverse effects on the PL. Unfortunatly, despite kicking everything that moved, the card never came. He will probably not play on Wednesday, then he will pick up a yellow against the scum and get suspended! :banghead:

We were fuckin shit yesterday - simple as that. Neither team played well, it was a shit game that no team deserved to win and hearing the arsenal crowd cheering every pass at 65 minutes was a fuckin wind up!
Good points mate...esp about the card situation. Of course, you're right it's only 1 game suspension and that would have been cleared by the liverpool game.

The ole thing always fucks me off too. Cut it out!

BT used two words which summed it all up for me 'Arrogant' 'Lazy'. These are attitudes that come from the manager. He encourages this type of player by wanting them to express themselves on the pitch. It's fine when you're 4 up. ManUre and The Chavs giving up a 2 goal lead like that? I don't want to see back heels and 'oles', I want a professional performance, closing out games.

Know what? It's not the fact we drew that kills me. In the summer I had little hope that we'd be seriously in the mix this season but after our little run a bit of hope crept in. It's the hope that kills you in the end!

It's not an over reaction, just a realisation that there are more games like this to come where our pretty passing will not be enough and where 5 wins out of 6 will happen again only for another West Ham to bring me crashing down to reality.

Nurse, can I have my medication please?

after 2-0 our players didnt get into space meaning whoever had the ball could only pass it to the defenders, then the defenders just had to lump it up there and hope for the best. If we created space for each other and kept hold of the ball we would have kept the lead. That dodgey freekick and dodgey penalty didnt help at all :banghead:
Also, for the Parker insident if the reff doesnt give a pen (which he shldnt have, fair play) surely he would have to give a yellow card for simulation  :? Meaning Parker could have been sent off earlier :banghead:
