CARLING CUP THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

They're not, Song is the only first team pick out of all those (and I reckon he'll be replaced in Jan).

Senderos had a pretty good game, made one excellent tackle while it was still 0 - 0. That penalty would have been fucking harsh, especially compared with what Jay Teeee and Carragher get away with on an almost weekly basis.

You highlight two dm's and a rightback/winger then ask why a cm and a second striker are not ahead of them?

Second striker :? When I have saw Merida play (not too often I admit) he has played on the right. Ramsey could do a job in most midfield positions I would guess. Are you saying Wenger would never play a player out of position :?:

Seen him probably around ten times for his country, just off the lone striker. When Wenger picks him, he uses the guy on the left

I'm saying I don't think playing attacking players at dm's or leftfooted players on the right is always a good idea. Not been impressed when we have played Ramsey out wide, seems only mildly more effective then when we put Diaby out on the flanks
