Anyone got a Wii..?

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Other half's family have got one. Actually surprisingly good, I thought it would be a bit of a novelty that would quickly wear off but I still like it and they've had it for a while.

With regards to it being any good for a 51 year old I couldnt say. What type of games you looking to get? Might be able to help out there (with info, not back of van deals lol)

Do they do any games where you actually participate in a Porn film?

Think closest you'll get to that is Yoga positions on the Wii-Fit mate. Get that and buy a Fleshlight and jobs a gd'un!

What do you want it for ****? There are no porn games

My wife wanted one so she could do wii fit its now gathering dust next to the TV they are shite, bad graphics, baby-ish games, just a gimmick with the movement controllers etc

If you want a games system get a ps3 or Xbox360 if you want fitness go running or take up a sport

i agree with Flash. I think they are being mis-sold as a way of getting excercise and improving health. If you're into gaming then don't bother.
At best you might gain the benfit of some cardio workouts with games like boxing and that won't be that much and can never counter the benefit of a good long walk.

However, i've spent many hours on one and they are fun, pure and simple. The sports games engage, they are simple but a great laugh with a group of mates round.

if you're after entertainment i'd recommend it, but if you're after serious sit down concentrate gaming go for a ps3 or xbox

I'm a PS3 man myself but we're buying the wii for the kids for Christmas so I expect I'll be using it too... not a fan at the moment (I'm old skool - games should be played sitting down and only moving the thumbs and fingers  ) but we'll see if it appeals to me after a few weeks of use...

wii is great fun. And good exercise. Which is good news for young kids who don't actually go out and play sports.

You're right they don't now do they.... Whatever happened to the parks where they had someone employed to organise sport relelated activities?

Our local park had a great one, but when I went through it a couple of years ago the building had been demolished... :banghead:
