SWAMP DWELLERS ON SAT THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Had originally planned to give this game a miss due to lack of finances, but was so pleased when I managed to pick up a cheaper block 5 ticket in mid-week. Turned out to be completely worth it for a great result, awesome atmosphere and most of all for that 60 seconds of pure, brilliant mayhem.

Right, you're going straight on the C*nt List!

The Sp*ds were very one dimensional. Hit it long to Crouch and Keane will run onto the lose/knocked back ball.
Were as us we were struggling in the first half to get out of first gear. I was already waiting for half time as AW needed to give the players a talking too. We were too static at times.
I could see if we started to play they were for the taking. Que the 40th minute.........

As soon as RVP slotted the goal the place went mad. Sheer delight as I couldn't see a real threat at the time from them and the goal could have really kick started us...
Still jumping up and down in joy when I saw Cesc through on goal. quickly dawned on me that the game had restarted.
GOAL!!
I went MENTAL. Jumping over seats, Hugging my fellow regular supporters around me and Shouting and cheering at the top of my lungs. YEEAAHHH!!!!!

By the 43rd minute I was knackered! and out of breath!

Odds on Bent bagging a couple against them next week? And then "good old 'Arry" claiming the credit for turning him into a goalscorer with his reverse psychology last season.

"Ave I ever told you about how we only had 2 points when I got here?"
