The F.A wankers

The F.A wankers

Post by tenementfunster5 »

They've only gone and given Adebayor an extra game ban for failing to leave the field of play. Why cant they admit they were wrong to send him off and leave the ban as the games he has already recieved he shouldn't have been sent off so give him a ban of 1 game (Reading) for failing to leave the field of play and exonorate him from the three match ban for his red card. Adebayor gets additional one-match suspension
The Football Association made the following statement on Friday afternoon:

“At a Disciplinary Commission hearing today, Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor was given an additional one-match suspension and fined £7,500.

Adebayor had denied a charge of reacting aggressively and failing to leave the field of play immediately after being sent off during the Carling Cup Final against Chelsea on Sunday 25 February.

The Commission found the charge to be proved. In sentencing, the Commission stated that it had taken into account Adebayor's playing record and the mitigation offered. Adebayor is currently serving a three match suspension following his sending off during the match. This additional suspension will come into effect after those three games have been completed.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have admitted a charge of failing to control their players and/or officials, also relating to the Carling Cup Final. Chelsea admitted the same charge on 2 March. Both clubs have requested personal hearings which will be scheduled in due course.

Additionally, The FA can confirm that it has received a response from Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. He was asked to explain comments made about one of the assistant referees in the Carling Cup Final and about The FA's disciplinary procedures. Wenger's response will now be considered and no further comment can be made at this time.â€

I wish that the officials would come out and explain their decisions to the public on telly . If I got sent off in a Cup Final and I knew that it wasn't supposed to have been me then I doubt if I would have walked away without a scene either! I really hope that Arsene does compile a dossier of all the wrong doings we have seen and it would be interesting to see the FA's stance. We all know the FA will probably fine him and charge him with something .

The FA are fucking scum. The way they have treated us is a disgrace.

Arsene stuck up for us. Now I think us the fans should do something, some sort of protest but can't think what? Any suggestions.
