Dear all gooners.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

^^ Was this in Iraq?

RIP to anyone who loses their life fighting for our country. Its got to the stage where its like lambs to the slaughter and we need to bring our troops home, we're losing too many men/women out there.

Very sad news. Can I just confirm this is Paul Smith from Michael's account? Just hope i read it right..

Just read this. I'm horrified. Only the other day Cas posted that michael was doing well and safe. God - I'm shocked by this.

If you guys remember earlier in the summer Michael's first couple of posts were announcing his love of the Gunners and then apologising for his poor writing as he didn't want to upset anyone on here. He seemed such a genuine guy.

Terrible tragedy.

RIP Michael and deepest sympathy to Cas and your family and friends.

I remember well, DB.

Cas, I know it will come as no consolation, but hopefully you can take some comfort from the knowledge that Michael has done you, and his country proud.

RIP Michael.

Just switched on at half time and read this. Like DB10 said I remember the early posts from Micheal too and his apologies. This is so sad . RIP
