Pick on mods day again is it?

I didn't see the original threads so have no idea what was contained or who they upset. However, as far as I can tell a mod took a decision to delete the thread to avoid it spiralling out of control and at the request of the originator, which seems a perfectly reasonable course of action to me.

If you don't like the mod's decision - fine. That's your perogative, but they are acting on my behalf and will often have to make quick decisions. I don't want or expect them to have to refer to me everytime. By all means, email or PM me about it if you have a real grievance.

What I can't stand is people who then turn on the mods just because they disagree with their actions. I've said it before and I'll say it again people need to respect the job the mods do on here as it's the only way the forum will live on. If you don't then it's very quick and easy to switch it off.

If you don't believe me, just carry on.

You might be able to tell I'm really not in the mood for this now. I've got a lot on for the 200th issue and could really do without the distraction. That just might mean I come to hasty decision.

I think everyone should chill out now and let this one go. Before Mike feels forced to take more drastic action than just locking or deleting a thread.

A thread got deleted - it isn't the end of the world. We may not all agree but someone has to make the final decision. Spuddy made it for the good of the forum. I back him on that.

I did see the original photo's and the thread - just think like everyone else you are over reacting - i've been there mate, when i first join this forum - but after thinking about, i admitted i over reacted - you ain't helping yourself

I would doubt it very much that you could find anybody on here who has a bad opinion of ****, his posts and especially his pics may border on offensive on occasion

but I think he is a decent sort who this time has made an error of judgement with a post and as i am sure he didn't mean any offence it should be forgotton.

greengooner thinks that radford should climb down from his PC horse and get over it
