Sunderland Away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

MACKEMS AWAY DAY

Post by maddog »

Will be heading accross from Carlisle with my 22 yr old son arriving in Sunderland approx 11am meeting up with 3 old Mackem mates! Am relying on them for pre match entertainment, probs be back in Carlisle for 8 or 9pm!

Sunderland good night out, Newcastle edges it though!

aye mate (well, originally, live up in scotland now but still have my season ticket)

The game is getting closer and closer, cant wait. I see your lot have sold out the away end so that should guarantee a great atmosphere.

Right, erm, having watched that first half i'd now rather you didnt bother turning up

Nah, despite a 2-0 defeat we deserved to beat spurs, and will have Cana back, and Arsenal just look top class. It'll be a fucking hard game for us, but i'm looking forward to it. Not sure how best to counter the arsenal passing game, i guess the best thing is just to get stuck in, give away silly fouls occasionally and try to interrupt the flow- i'd be more confident if we had big Kenwyne up front, but well have a bloody good go

Either way, we wont go down, so this is a good chance to have a go, if we lose its hardly unexpected and doesnt matter much. your lot have sold out the away end so hopefully it'll at least be a great atmosphere- hope those of you coming up enjoy your day, theres no "home only" pubs and ever since the Henry standing ovation our lot have got on well, so you'll be made welcome everywhere in the city

the players preferably like! i could do without arshavin running at mccartney, and RVP versus nyron nosworthy could get frustrating, even though:

Nyrons got a massive cock, nyron, nyron
He tucks it in his football sock, nyron, nyron
He shagged a lass and now shes dead,
He swings his cock around his head,
Nyron Nosworthy, Sunderlands number 6

Aye, the fans are welcome, but i'd rather the team stayed at home
