Liverpool vs Arsenal

Post by T.S »

Half time in Turkey, Liverpool 1-0 down. I wonder if their performance (so far) and ours yesterday will have any bearing on Sunday's game. How do you lot reckon we'll do? Where are you watching it? Oh, so many questions...

MY FEAR IS THAT IF LIVERPOOL LOSE TONIGHT, THE MEDIA WILL REALLY GET ON THEIR BACKS AND START CONTRASTING THEIR PERFORMANCES UNFAVOURABLY WITH OURS.

AS A RESULT, LIVERPOOL REACT TO ALL THE CRITICISM, RAISE THEIR STANDARDS TO PROVE THE MEDIA WRONG, PLAY THEIR BEST EVER GAME AND END UP BEATING US!!  WELL, THAT'S WHAT NORMALLY HAPPENS ON OCCASIONS LIKE THIS!

liverpool lose then rafa will play 3 defensive midfielders for fear of losing on sunday and get a poxy penalty and win 1-0,, or he;l go all out for the victory leaving gaps at the back and we score 2 breakaway goals

I'm watching it while posting every minute which shows how exciting it is. they are crap. They were lucky on Saturday. I am more inclined to believe we are looking at our cup performances last season than the League.

Tone after your 7-0 prediction we are all waiting to hear your view before we head down the bookies. BTW have you looked at lemi's thread? you're being dissed on there.

yeah staunton for manager!!

i wonder if wenger will stick with theo upfront - my guess is he may not but i suppose it could be dependent on injuries. I'd be happy with a draw tho a win is a possibility cos of liverpool's rotation policy and home form. Thing is with liverpool recently, they either completely outplay us or we outplay them and i think they're still hurt from the cup games last year.

I wonder if we can get the beast on loan for the game??!!

Could work. Put him next to Hyppia and the poor sod will have to be carried off after 70 mins. I'd like to see Theo get another chance though. in the hole right wing?

2-0 to the turks. Scousers totally vulnerable to the quick break. i think a team that are good at that might be able to beat them. Anybody know a team good at that? nearly 3!! :P

i can see him coming on in 2nd half 20-30mins to go
fresh legs in beside adboyor and running at pools tired defence(could be wrong, most of the time i am)

what about eduardo?????.

finished 2-1. Scousers look totally knackered. i may be tempting fate but
they've effectively got 2 days less than us to prepare. horrible late flight. 2 really draining games. can't see them winning.

Anybody else making sure they're in place for Bolton v Villa before our game :P
