I love Xmas, but then I'm still pretty much a child. Love the presents, both the anticipation of opening them, and the feeling you get when you find the perfect present for someone.

Also it means a Kaapstad holiday! :barscarf:

I bloody well LOVE Christmas :D

When I was growing up we had some pretty shit Christmas times (family stuff) although my Mother did her very best.

So now I lap the whole Christmas gig up like milk, feckin' love it :barscarf:

Since becoming a dad i have enjoyed it more if only for seeing my daughters face as she opens her presents or we visit Father Christmas but generally i hate Christmas, hate the Christmas songs, hate everyone being falsely happy, hate people wearing festive ties and jumpers.... I always feel a bit down and remember the people who arent around anymore like my own dad.

Yeah Christmas got old for me a few years back. Over it now.

Still hate when religious groups try to have Christmas advertising banned because it disagrees with their beliefs though. :lol:

This year will be my first time having a sort of 'family' Christmas though, its usually just myself, my parents and my brother here.

I usually fucking hate Christmas, with all that 'ho ho ho, get into the spirit bollox.' This year though, I'll be sunning myself by The Indian Ocean and enjoying my Honeymoon.

Christmas, to me, is about as welcome as international football breaks. It has no real significance. And it interferes with the natural flow of things. It's just a pain in the arse.

Never too old to be a big kid so I still enjoy it OG, altho that might have something to do with getting a week off work :wink: Got back from the anitpodes just in time to appreciate a proper northern hemisphere xmas :lol:

I tried to have a miserable time but did'nt want to be seen as a whinging pom :lol: I cheered myself up while there by reminding them of the resting place of the ashes :wink: :lol: Last time I was there for a **** game we won 3-0 and Thierry scored that goal :wink: this time we won 3-0 and Cesc scored that goal :wink: :lol: :barscarf: Knew I was going to miss a good one tho :roll: :lol:

Xmas sucks....

My ideal Christmas present would be to see The Grinch kick Santas arse at the Hull game....Come to think of it he could kick the shit out of Gunnersaurus... :twisted:
