CORRECT!! he was Lord mayor of london 4 times.
And ill tell ya something else..He WASNT poor as he is potrayed in Pantomimes.
He came from an Aristocratic family and he came to london to study all things CLOTH.
He became minted being an importer and exporter of cloth.
He is buried at a church in college Hill london which is just off cannon street.
