Fat Frank's back for sunday

Post by CPHANMER »

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is optimistic that Frank Lampard will be fit for Sunday's Premier League clash at Arsenal.

The Blues face a crunch clash with London rivals Arsenal at the weekend, and Ancelotti is hopeful key midfielder Lampard could start the fixture.

The Italian told Sky Sports: "He is working very well and trained well today. He could start the game."

So lets get this straight. Both terry, cashley and big fat frank are injured for England. With only Wolves to play last week of course they would still be injured i mean the chelski women could beat wolves. how much of a con is it that all these players have now miraculasly recovered. Not to mention Essien who goes awol for Ghana, How come the media never pick this up. Theres us the mugs sending eveyone to all 4 corners of the world to play crappy friendlies and getting crocked. I blame Wenger in all of this, lets be honest how many of the players actually want to play in friendly games when they know they have an important club game coming up. Surely Arsene should start insisting players are injured before these micky mouse games.

Fecking unbelieveable!!! :banghead: :banghead: A couple of weeks ago someone wrote a thread rejoicing that Chelsea were going to be without Lampard, Cashley and Drogba against us, yet all of them will be fit for Sunday. In the meantime, we've lost RVP, Bendtner, Clichy and now Gibbs!!!:banghead:

I wonder what difference, if any, Chelsea's recruitment - along with that of Anchelotti - of some of AC Milan's world renowned medical staff has had on their quick recovery. On the otherhand, after losing some of our medical team to the England set-up, we're left with Gary Lewin's assistant, a Doctor used to Rugby injuries and a quack from Serbia who specialises in after-births!!!

According to this article, Fat Frank should've been out for 6 weeks. So did VP!!

....

Still according to this article, Fat Frank went to serbia and got the feckin placenta cum treatment by the old hag. So did VP!!!

....

Again, according to this article, Fat Frank is finally back on the pitch and certainly available for this week-end's clash... Then oh why am I not surprised that VP him is still shagging the nurse???!!!

Why for once can't it be the other side around? Why can't we for once have some positive news concerning injuries?? Are the physio takin a big royal piss?

...

Oh yeah I'm sorry. The good news is VP is out for 4 to 6 weeks while it could've been 6 months... Is that Arsene's new technique to present the injuries so that we're not too disappointed when he puts a player out for 2 months after a small knock?

Are we a f*ckin clinic? I mean we have Rosicky with his mysterious knee curse, Van Persie the oh-so-wonderfull-but-still-chocolate boy, Walcott, the guy has too much speed for his proper self, his body can't keep up (neither his mind) and he ends up injurying himself while falling. We all know about gibbs. Clichy has suddenly back problems comin out from nowhere. Denilson, the guy plays one game and suddenly disapear in a parallel dimension. If that wasn't enough Diaby finds the way to break Nasri in half during a god damn training session before the season starts. Last year (or was it two years ago?) Toure even managed to get Malaria!!!!

I mean common is this a global scam or what? :banghead: :banghead:

I mean is it just me or during every match now as soon as one of our players gets tackled strongly I’m automatically thinking "injury 2-3 weeks out".... I just can't believe the amount of injuries modern day footballers get (arsenal players). Go back 30 years players played 50 games a season every 2-3 days on a crap pitch with crap boots and you never even heard of a metatarsal injury. now though in this modern day with the treatment available, modern boots, dynamic ball and fitness regimes they get injured more and more. I play Sunday league football every week without proper training, a belly and play on grass that’s as hard as concrete yet the only injury I’ve picked up in the last 2 years is a twisted ankle

I think a lot of the things diagnosed as "injuries" these days really aren't either. :?

So players don't play because they're told not with even the slightest twinge of a muscle. In the past 'injuries' like those probably weren't given any thought. So the players just got on with it.

Maybe... :?

At the time the other thread was rejoicing the fact that Lumplard, Terry, Cole and Dogbreath would be out, I think you'll find a few of us pointed out that their alleged serious injuries were a ruse and they'd all be fit for our game.

No surprises then

Exactly spuddy - I think very few really believed that would miss our game so we can all look forward to dogbreath raping our defence again and fat frank scoring 6 deflected goals

As for the injuries I would suggest, metatarsals aside, that a lot of our "injuries" wouldnt be classed as injuries elsewhere as wenger wraps his players in cotton wool far far too much

Two things have changed also. The boots. And Cortisone. Back in the day boots protected the feet. Nowdays these pissy little ballet slippers all the pros wear offer no protection from the studs/blades. Who ever heard of a metatarsil in the 70's or 80's?

Physios are not allowed give players Cortisone anymore. It was the miracle temporary cure for ankle/knee damage. Unfortunately because you feel strong and pain free you just make the injury worse and worse. Alot of those players from the 70's and 80's are crippled now because of it.

Yes, I'm not surprised by their so called 'injuries' clearing up, perhaps fifa could send their reps to actually validate these injuries, and if they are feigning them (or even over-hyping them) perhaps they should mete out points deductions or transfer bans..... (oh... hold on they tried that one) :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

edit.... by the way, I am actually back this Sunday...

Boots for sure. They're no more than fashion statements now. With added performance enhancing capacities too of course. That's why we should all wear the same boots as the pros. So go out and buy them immediately!

Reminds me of when Predetors first come out, all that bollocks about the little rubber bits on them would make the ball swerve more. Was funny seeing people rush out and buy them for £120 and then realise that they were still as crap at football as they were before!
