Almunia

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Up to the freekick, thought he was doing pretty well. Problem is, Fabianski has only just recovered from injury and I don't think Wenger will look to change keepers in Jan but spend the money elsewhere

freekick was his fault,

and ill need to look back at it again, but im sure he could have done better for the own goal.

We need a better keeper than him without doubt.

If you're going to win the league you need a world class keeper. Almunia will never be a world class keeper!

RVP is a big miss ... But we are lacking 2-3 world class players around the team, not just in goal ....

At the game I blamed him for all 3 cos I thought the first 2 crosses were in the 6 yard box and a decent keeper would have taken the crosses. Having seen them on the box he couldn't have done much about the first cross but the second and third goal were his fault, end of story. Again he was no man's land for the 2nd and a big call would have got the ball. Free kick? Just shit keeping.
I've supported him in the past but sorry Manuel, you make too many mistakes and wrong decisions
