WILL JOL GETTING SACKED/RESIGNING SEND SPURS DOWN?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I suspect it may have the opposite effect...unfortunately.

The way they sacked Mr Jol sums up what a joke they are, and should serve to make us all realise how lucky we are.

I heard a rumour earlier today that Mickey Mouse wears a Tottenham Hotspur wrist-watch.

As much as we all would love that to happen, we all seriously know it wont.

Still, look on the bright side, the longer they are in the limelight for the wrong reasons, the longer the whole of football will eventually realise what an absolute shower of shite they are, their right to have a top manager (not), great fans (not)

In summary................. Always in our shadows u LOSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a farce that was, even with results slipping away, press are looking at the board for Jol's failure this season and rightly so. Spurs have a good side, not too good to go down but one that could still finish top half of the table if the caretaker is good and they get in right staff to work with players.

Jol had to go as his position has long been untenable so like Newcastle in Bobby Robson's last days, things collapsed. Now they should be able to climb out but hardly an ideal situation for them.

There are so many really, really shit teams down there that by default they will finish in the top half. Obviously, when Ledley King comes back they will win the league and World Cup.
