The main reason for this is that they just aren't a genuine rival anymore, think about it when was the last time they beat us in a game of any significance? The Cup semi back in 91? That's 16 year's ago! Even then we were contending for league titles back then and Spur's were a "big" club then.
Any animosoity i have against the Spud's is usually raised by Spud's fans first talking bullshit about how they are as big us. I mean we've won the league more times than the rest of the other London club's combined.
The truth is the Spud's for the most part don't register on my football radar, I look to Manure, Chavski and thievingbastardpool results before checking on the Spud's.
Whereas for the spud;s supporters the derby game's are all they have to sustain them throughout the season, as they don;t have realistic chance of any silverware, so the games mean far more to them than they do to us. For us its 3 points while contending for the title for spud's these games mean everything as thery are all they have. And we usually spank them which makes it even worse for them.

Nicely put. And, yeah, they do hate us more. It's all gone spectacularly pear shaped for the spuds over the last ten years and more, while we've gone on to new heights. It must hurt like a gang rape being a spud fan...

That says about everything about them, if they concentrated on their own club instead of constantly looking at what their superior neighbours up the road are doing they might do a bit better, sad fuckin twats that they are. As an "old school" gooner I spose I'll always hate the fuckers with a vengeance but I do understand why most people feel that manure, chavs and the scouse are much bigger rivals nowadys, certainly on field anyway
