Not according to BBC kids website. There are lots of versions of it but the popular one in England and Ireland is that one. You drag the whoa-o out a little...

Not sure your welcome suggestions pan properly though. That last line is exclaimed (almost chanted), as in; "Knees bent!! Arms out!! Ra ra ra!!" so the "He's bent! etc" line works perfectly but is a lttle homophobic... Still, I'm not offended by it, but then I'm not a homer either so... ?

I've been doing a bit of research on this whole "Hokey cokey" v "Hokey cokey cokey" quandry (and as a civil servant, it's at the taxpayers expense - which is nice... :wink: ).

My impression is that "Hokey cokey cokey" is an American version (also used in Australia).

They also use the lines;

You put your right foot in
You put your right foot out
You put your right foot in
and you shake it all about

Whereas the version I believe to be used in these parts uses;

You put your right foot in
your right foot out
in out, in, out
shake it all about

Thus, the real crux of the issue is; are you a closet septic tank, Hlebby???? :shock: :wink:
