Wenger shaking hands!?!?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsène Wenger has no regrets over his failure to shake hands with Mark Hughes after the Carling Cup tie at Manchester City on Wednesday.
The Arsenal manager fully admits he is a “bad loserâ€

In reality he just told 'em that he'd already answered their question about shakegate (you like?)... which he had. It was good to see when he was asked whether hughes had swore at him he just said "you have to keep some distance with these things, i dont want to get involved" or words to that effect. :D[/quote]

"does mark hughes know any other words??"

This what wenger should have said

An elbow in the face from an opposing player would be fun. Later, when questioned, the would-be perpetrator could claim that he was merely using his "immense strength" to "shield the ball".

Shake?
