He didn't have much to do to be fair but his distribution was dire.
He never inspires confidence when balls are played into the box mind.
Got home about 20 mins ago. Good result although like many others I was expecting a repeat of Alkmaar away until Aaron's cracker. Although to be fair Stoke seemed to be pretty much reliant on Delap's party piece; "Throw in a minute, you'll get a throw in a minute!"
Much more lively from Andrey today as well & a confidence-boosting goal for him. It must surely be clear to Wenger now that he is much happier in that position he played today. He did seem to pick up a knock near the end though? Hope it's nothing serious, we need another foursome from him at Anfield next week!
Chavs currently losing, if Everton can beat the spuds tomorrow that'd wrap up a pretty nice weekend of results...
I sat behind almunia's goal in the second half and noticed sagna berating him about his poor distribution. Quite telling. He also left traore high and dry at one point by not saying what he was doing. Also, very obscure interview in programme with him about him 'feeling wrong in body and mind'. Meanwhile Given plays another blinder...

Apparently his step-dad died and he is really depressed about it, that's why he missed those games because first he was in Spain and then in no fit state to play.

Model bloody professional, isn't he!
that's a bit harsh SWL, i'm not al's biggest fan but anyone can take it badly when a loved one dies.

Ah, there's that wonderful mental strength Wenger keeps banging on about!
Arshavin can't play because Russia didn't qualify ...
Almunia can't play because his step dad died ...
Gibbs can't play because he was emotionally destroyed by ManUre ...
Arsenal weren't mentally prepared to play Sunderland ...
We're struggling without Van Persie
Chelsea scored from their first chance...
Sunderland scored from their only chance
etc.
Excuses, Excusues, Excuses. Sick to bloody death with it all. Grow some fucking balls and get on with it.
