Just because a lot of people say he is the best in the world does not mean we need him!

And where would he fit into our team?

I'm happy enough with Cesc and Flamini at the moment!

You don't think Chel$ki haven't tried that?

I see what you're trying to say, but having 2 brilliant players who would fulfill the same role would not only be redundant and expensive, but could also lead to competition which is not 'good' competition. (i.e what I would imagine happens at Chel$ki.)

yea 1 or 2 top players, not do a chavski and sign 33 new players and play the same 11 week in and week out, because thats when players become unsettled then when they get the chance they are not as good as they use to be, ballack, shevchenko, SWP ect ect

Kaka is a great creative player, but can he do the nasty stuff that gives our creative players the right to play? i would say not, Cesc will be the best in the world within the next couple of seasons and to replace him with anyone would be madness. i would say that if you were going to replace Flanimal with someone from milan it would be Gattuso and not Kaka. although i don't think replacing Flanimal is warranted, we'll know what needs to be changed after the next two league matches if we get 6/4 points from these games i would suggest if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I don't see that we need a midfilelder or forward, be it Gattuso or Kaka. I believe as already mentioned in this thread we need a central defender and a goalkeeper.

I agree with the posts that point to the Keeper being the most worrying position.

Almunia has done OK but I don't have 100% faith in him considering his hapless past. Jens looks like he's off and looks like he could be doing more harm than good at the moment, so it's in his and our best interests that he moves on.

If Fabianski is any good Wenger must show his faith and throw him in at the deep end. You can talk about his lack of experience but he is 22 years old, he doesn't need a fake ID to buy a can of Stella. He's was also considered experienced enough to be called up for the Poland world cup sqaud in 2006.

If Wenger doesn't consider him good enough to step up then he must surely spend a penny to get a new keeper in. I agree with the suggestion that Robert Green looks a good keeper, I haven't seen many West Ham games, but he impressed against us last year and looks good when shown on MOTD.

FOUR SEASONS??? c'mon Rebel you're doin us a disservice, tell me you haven't forgotten the Untouchables of 2004 already, also RAM, agree 100% cos I actually thought the same thing, would Kaka come to us because as everyone rightly sez he is an unbelieveable player but then thinking where would he fit in and he could actually cause problems purely because he is already a megastar, his wages would probably be at least twice that of Fab's, he would expect to play every week regardless of form, and no-one should forget why TH14 was shipped out, and Chav$ki's experiences with Sheva and Ballack, and the unrest it caused in the dressing room and the subsequent drawn out pay disputes involving their two most influential players in Fatso and JT!
