‘Wonder Of You’ replacement suggestions

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

On another matterm the difference between YNWA and TWOU is that the former occured organically on the terraces, the latter was a corporate decision. Here's a song - now sing to it!

Wasn't there a poll a few seasons ago, and the winner was Impossible Dream, and we got The Wonder Of You.. :banghead:

Why must we have an anthem? I went to the liverpool cc game last month, and it was embarrassing us trying to imitate the mousers with 'TWOY', it's crap, we got great songs, "We'll drink together, In praise of the AFC", B'jesus said paddy, but the majority don't know them, except a few in the corner. We should be getting these songs out there, and getting them going properly around the ground. Keep singing them, keep singing them, keep singing them!

Just for the record- I really liked Right Here Right Now. Let's have it back, because it's not an 'anthem', just gets you psyched.

Yeah I don't like having an anthem, as all the away teams that come would just sing over it, making it look bad. Just look at you'll never walk alone, I don't think there has been a single match where they sing it in peace!!!

Also, good old arsenal is way to short to be an anthem.
I personally do not mind the wonders of you, but I wouldn't like it being played before every single home match.
