As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

request from hull city website

Post by gooner.ed »

ok - these guys from www.hullcityonline.com have been in touch asking a few questions about the team ahead of saturday's game for posting on their website preview of the match. most of their queries can be handled with one line answers, but then this...

Player by Player (predicted starting 11 and a line about each of their strengths/weaknesses/trademark moves, is he any good etc., can do more than just the first 11 if you wish)

I've said the likely starting XI is
Keeper that starts v Burnley
Sagna – Gallas – Vermaelen – Traore
Fabregas – Song – Denilson
Nasri – Arshavin – Diaby

If anyone is twiddling thumbs today and fancies writing up the strengths/weaknesses/trademark moves, is he any good of each name, feel free. i sure ain't got the time unless they are paying me!

you don't think mr tango's behind this do you? scouting of oppo teams been cut back and all that?

Diaby's trademark move - Lope around, look disinterested, collect ball with brillant control, swivel, then play ball out into touch - get injured.

Come on....someone had to

If you let one of the rose-tinters do it, I'm sure that Hull will be shitting themselves before Saturday - thinking they were coming up against the modern equivilent of the 1970 Brazil side!!

I imagine Walcott would likely start seeing as we're at home.

Trademark move?

From the pitch to the bench at around the 65 minute mark.

I'm sure they're already shitting themselves as much as we do. But that's because we all wonder in which goal Diaby will score this week-end.

Quality. 8)

Poor fuckers will be living in fear of a Walcott hat-trick and the fearsome tackling machine that is Denilson. Do you think they know Eboue's new nickname is "Pele"? :-P

I'm quite happy to do it if I can work out how to do strengths, weaknesses, trademark moves, any good in one line.

Aaaaand forgetting to tie his boot laces up - so he runs so far then:

a) miss-kicks the ball

b) miss-kicks the ball AND then falls over!

c) forgets he is part of a team fails to pass , gives the ball away then falls over

d) trips over his long straggly beard! ...
