Hleb outstanding as Arsenal pass first major test (29/10)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

usual thread starter… I was delighted with a point at Anfield, even if we could have won it by the end. How about United next weekend? Would you take a draw now? Or is a win the result we need? I really think it could go either way.

I thought from the outset that 4 points from these two games would be good business - I still think that we can do that but Man Ure are in top form too.
I predict 2-1 again!

Yes Helb played well but the heartbeat of this Arsenal team is Fabregas.Yesterday he was up against Gerrard but completley outplayed him.He now has 10 goals and we are still in October. On the down side Rosicky was like the invisible man.
The Man Utd game will be a cracker as they always give other teams a chance. But we will have to take them as Man Utd will create chances against us.
I would start Theo on saturday, drop Eboue and play 4-4-2

I would love to see Theo start against the Mancs. We are at home so should go all out for the win.

Another fabulous display by the 'kids' (must stop calling them that) but I was disappointed we didn't take all 3 points. Hitting the post twice was unlucky, but both Cesc and the offside Bendtner would have scored easily had they taken another touch. But I guess that's life - and with a point where we lost 4-1 last year and still unbeaten, playing football that the football world is really drooling over this time, which Gooner could possibly complain? No dramatic predictions for Saturday, but certainly we are capable of winning - and winning well. :D :D
