As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think the majority of refs in the premiership are very poor and not up to standard it makes my job on a sunday even harder so much so I'm on the verge of quitting. Howard Webb is the worst ref closely followed by Mike Dean

DID YOU BASTARDHOLES NOT SEE MY EARLIER THREAD RE MR WEBB??!!

Anyway, Webb is shite but Manchester Mike Riley is the worst...

Keep reffing Smoothie, Wayno is bang on; The game needs you 8) .

When I used to play competative footy I always respected the refs because at the end of the day they give up their time so we can enjoy ourselves.

But I've seen some shocking stuff over the years; refs abused, chased into changing room, shoved and on one terrible occasion actually punched. Glad to say the ref pressed charges and the dirty crunt that hit him was jailed and got a life ban from the league.

seriously there has been times I've wanted to wait outside a ground and hand him my red and yellow cards and tell him how bad a ref he is! Howard Webb is just one of the refs who dont inspire any confidence in any department!

You see Wayne Rooney F in and blindin at several refs and on a sunday because he has got away with it they assume they can get away with it!

I find it incredible that the FA can be so fucking stupid. He cocke-up the major decisions on Sunday. He will now be under pressure to show he is not going to make it up to Arsenal on Saturday.

Let's not forget that this prick lost control of the League Cup Final last year due to his inability to handle the big games. Prepare for match-turning mistake from this tosser on Saturday.

The ref i used to have for our games was funny, but also got sweared at from players. I knew the ref as he was one of my friends dad and he said to one of the bigger boys in our team that he needed to lose some weight. It was funny
