FFS!!! corie has gone to the Depths..

Post by mrgnu1958 »

24 years ago on the 22nd December after an illness of 2 years me beautifiul mum passed away from Breast Cancer.
NOW corie has a storyline about Sally telling Kevin that she has it on christmas day. :(

I dunno...maybe im drunk but im not sure this storyline is done in the best Taste.

Hope it does some good though for the lovely people who are going through it right now.

Sorry to hear of your mam mate

BUT

Its a story line that like many others brings awareness to the issue.
Nothing better for the Cancer research organisations than getting the exposure to it seen by millions of people. If the storyline is done with compassion and all the right things are said, then it can only do good for the fight against the vicious disease.
If it means just one woman walks into a clinic and is checked in time to save her life then the writers of the soap have done something good.

Better to expose it than not mate.
