Supporter,Fan or not worth a toss? Augie?, Spunkmuncher? etc

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I hope you jizz monkeys are happy with the fact that, as 'Gooners' ( loosely speaking ) you have shown as much loyalty to our Club and Team as Judas did to the obvious. I can't tell you how much I hope that this team succeeds. Not ony for obvious reasons ( I've followed the Arsenal since '87 and find the modern 'FAN' vomit inducing) but for the reason that the manager has shown qualities that are rarely seen and valued in todays game. Arsene is greatly respected amongst journalists, peers and most fans, but some self adoring, unknowing, sky watching, modern day football 'watchers' ( See aformentioned ) feel the need to flood websites such as this with negative, anti-Arsenal balderdash.
I hope, so much, that this team shows how good it can be and puts some of the DICKS that tap meaningless comments into this Forum, in thier place at the end of this season.

I'd trust Arsene over Augie, Spunkmuncher and any other anti-arsenal f*!K WIT !!

you see, even if i do not like augie's negativity, i do respect his posts, and he is actually right about most things. the problem is that he always chooses to talk about the negative points.

i don't remember him praising vermaelen or saying song is very good and safe at the back. he doesn't appreciate our business model and what that might mean to the future. a post about dennis bergkamp from augie would probably have "he was not the quickest of players, nor the strongest. his heading was below average and he would simply disappear in certain games, even if to score a wondergoal in the following minutes. he was a little injury prone and came to this club a little too late". would he be wrong? no!!!

so, even if it must be said that he is a negative bastard  i respect augie almost as much as i respect hadareud and i think you should do the same, sir. he is a respect forum member and above all, a true gooner.

and a negative bastard.

No, it's definately Brazilian Gooner. And although he is the king of rose-tinters, that's a bit harsh on him SWL.

I personally don't know anyone on this board apart from enjibenji, but I think it's harsh to label any fan just because you dont agree with them. Esp if you dont know them personally.

It doesnt matter how long you've supported Arsenal - you have to have respect for your fellow fans. After all, We all want The Arsenal to do well :barscarf:

This might be some alter-ego thingy...anyway, I kinda agree.

This board has been taken over by doomsayers.

There are too many posters who are hyper-critical, hyper-opinionated and hyper-active on the keyboard!

As I walked to the match today, I was thinking how boarders like augie would react if we actually beat Villa today? Which, given a game in hand against Bolton...at home, could leave us sitting pretty.

I've been a poster/member of this board for longer than most and my overriding feeling is that it has become shockingly negative and sometimes even anti-the club.

I think this is why I tend to read rather than post, because I'm unsure at why people who say they support this club, constantly slag it off.
