As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I don't usually buy the home games (mate does), but I thought, United tickets definitely worth trying extra hard for. I think the allocation is about 3000 tickets right? So when I finally got through the queue just before 10.30, half hour after it opened, they were all gone!
1500 tickets for reds for cat. A games and it's always a mess, a bit of a lottery!!!
Tried once (Tottenham home) and got a ticket after... 4hours!!!!!! I now stick to cat. B games and away games I can go to!
By becoming a red member you are on the silver waiting list... Just phone the box office to know your position. I never did it but I'll give them a call at the end of the season. Hope it's for soon

Actually, just out of interest, does anyone know of anybody that's moved up from the Red to Silver Membership? Does it ever happen?!
I as promoted to Silver this summer (joined the TRS waiting list in 2001, which became paid-up red membership in 2003). At least 8 year waiting list, probably longer due to a far larger number of red members than TRS waiting list applicants. Not many people are upgraded (I think 1000-1500 a year?), phone the membership helpline for your position in the queue

Living proof!.. I joined the trs list in '03, so maybe there is hope eh? I'll ring the box office to check.
