Jaysus, does Alex Song just get worse the more he plays or what? :?

I feel sorry for him but he is missing so much from his game it ain't funny - and all stuff he should have down tight at this stage... shame really. :(

He played well last night I thought, he looks clumsy and it didn't help when he decided to dribble but he doesn't seem to be a bad option for Carling Cup cb

LET'S PUT IT LIKE THIS, WE WOULDN'T HAVE GOT AWAY WITH PLAYING THAT DEFENCE AGAINST ANYONE SLIGHTLY BETTER THAN REALLY, REALLY SHIT SHEFFIELD!!

SONG WAS EXCELLENT AGAINST NEWCASTLE UNTITED BUT WAS LESS SECURE YESTERDAY EVENING. BECAUSE HE ISN'T REALLY A DEFENDER IN THE MIND, HIS ATTEMPTS TO NICK THE BALL FROM IN FRONT OF THE OPPOSTION FORWARDS RATHER THAN JUST SHADOW THEM SOMETIMES MAKES HIM MORE VULNERABLE TO CONCEDING EASY FREE-KICKS.

I REALLY HOPE THAT WITH TIME HE MAKES THE TRANSITION FROM SHIT MIDFIELDER TO DECENT DEFENDER, AND THAT HE ULTIMATELY MAKES IT AT ARSENAL. HOWEVER, I'M NOT CONFIDENT THAT HE WILL. :roll: :lol: :wink:
