EVERTON HOME GAME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hopefully the date and weather is suitable for our outskirts of London fans. :barscarf:

Will be happy with a match here.

Of course my presence is very important to me.

Seriously...what chance do you all give this of going ahead? And for those in London, what are my chances of landing at Gatwick around 2:30 tomorrow arvo?

gatwick is now open again as of this evening. we're not expecting as much snow over the next few days that we have been experiencing of late just sub zero temps. i will bet my house on it that the game will go ahead on saturday.

ps g'day from a fellow aussie :barscarf:

Can't see it going ahead unless there is a big change in the weather. Wouldn't be surprised to see the entire fixture list called off on Friday.

Weather forecast for N5 is

Today - sunny intervals Max 1°C Overnight -3°C
Friday - sunny Max 1°C Overnight -3°C
Saturday - sunny intervals Max 0°C Overnight -2°C
Sunday - light snow Max 0°C Overnight -2°C

So there is more snow on the way but they think it will be after the match.

As usual the problem will be around the ground, the bloody thing will be called off if the council and police think the risk of slipping on one's arse is too great. And then we'll be left with 2 games to fit in later in the season, when injuries, fatigue and suspensions are kicking in.

But as my Mum used to say "They couldn't forecast yesterday's f**king weather". She swore a lot my Mum. . .
