Theo's Ferrari rejected
Apparantly Theo's girlfriend Melanie was embarressed to recieve a £140k Ferrari from Theo for her birthday and is back to driving her beetle, she thinks he is a little to flash with his money and the Ferrari does not fit her Uni lifestyle.
What Wenger saw in him to give him a £65k a week contract in beyond me, he hasn't done anything of note since the Anfield semi two years ago and to hear Wenger say he is an attacking option coming back given our present predicament is laughable.
I hope the Ferrari has more to it than speed otherwise Melanie is stuck with the same problem as us.

From what I hear that's not her only problem relating to his speed..u2bagooner wrote: I hope the Ferrari has more to it than speed otherwise Melanie is stuck with the same problem as us.

Apparently him and Clichy are two of the players who make themselves available most to meet the public at events/functions/charity things so well you know...........it's not all bad!SWLGooner wrote:I don't like the way Theo is adapting to the footballer lifestyle.. it's all gone to his head it seems.
Where are all the posts praising him on being such a nice, down to earth guy?![]()

Ay? Don't get me wrong - I think Walcott's an abysmal player who's not fit to wear the shirt - but what's gone to his head?SWLGooner wrote:I don't like the way Theo is adapting to the footballer lifestyle.. it's all gone to his head it seems.
He earns £65k per week, and decided to use two weeks wages to buy his girlfriend a snazzy car. What's he supposed to buy her, chocolates and flowers?
By all means, slag him off for his pitiful performances, but spending his wages on gifts for his girlfriend is his prerogative. If he was splashing out thousands of pounds in nightclubs every week then I'd be concerned that he's "adopting the footballer lifestyle", but buying a one-off birthday gift doesn't consitute that in my opinion; regardless of whether or not his inflated wages are merited.
