DEAD HEROES CLUB

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

DEAD HEROES CLUB

Post by goonersid »

They are a Derry band and will be playing in "The Peel " in Kingston upon Thames on Sat 30th Jan, (night before the utd game)
Any Gooners on here from that area? I will be there with a couple of fellow gooners if you fancy a pint.
The band have a "progressive rock" style, influenced by the likes of Pink Floyd, Genesis and Marillion.
And if you know the area, are there any other pubs you can recommend. :barscarf:

i used to live round there. If you head through the town centre to the river there are some nice bars along there, although with the weather the way it is, i doubt you'll get much joy with them.

the market section oposite the entrance to the bentals centre has a couple of good bars on it, and if you head down the alley by natwest bank there are a couple of nice ones there.

have a good one.

The Willoughby Arms (in Willoughby Rd) is a gooner pub, never been in there though. The Wych Elm in Elm Rd is a nice little pub. Both about 10/15 minutes walk from the town centre. Or for another pub with live music head for the Grey Horse in Richmond Rd, 2 minutes walk from the station.
