The Sol Campbell Signing Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We're definitely playing The Hammers, just checked the official site. And isn't it typical that Arsenal TV has now axed live reserve game coverage  Just when we need to see how Sol gets on tonight...

The 35-year-old has re-signed for the Club he graced for five years between 2001 and 2006 and will make his comeback for the Reserves at West Ham on Tuesday night.

[Thursday, December 25, 2008]
Even though it is dated Dec 2008, he is 35 years old now in 2010 so...

Wikipedia has him "currently signed to Arsenal", although we know it's not the most reliable source.

That article is written recently. I just checked the reserves fixtures from that season.

December
10 Wed FA Youth Cup A Aston Villa
16 Tue Reserve League South H Portsmouth

January
13 Tue FA Youth Cup H Wolverhampton 3 1

The reserves didn't play on Dec 30th, which would have been the Tuesday the article would have been referring to had it been done on Xmas day.

Oh, and now they've removed the article entirely! I'd say this is done and they've ballsed it up on the website.

Something still isn't right with this, on the far right, it's got the weatherman Michael Fish in front of a weather map and it's showing up all cloudy and sunny signs... :? :?

Another Arseblog tweet: I think the good thing is that strikers are going to have run an extra 50 yards to get around Sol at this stage
