As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We do have a leaking defence, it is actually worse than last season, "Gallas brilliant" you are taking the piss, sol "intelligent and the complete defender" I think not he was a penalty waiting to happen even in his prime and needed an area the size of the M25 to turn.
As for being glad to see him back in an Arsenal shirt, I find there is no room for sentiment in football, let's see who are glad to see him back when he is embarassing himself and the club both on and off the field.
i didn't know you were in the "gallas is shit" wagon. i didn't expect it to be different, though.
and mate, if you think there is no room for sentiment in football, i can just say you are a sad man. i find sentiment in football to be pretty nice, otherwise it becomes simply statistics and a few fuckers gaining contracts here and there. football IS about passion and sentiment.
CALM DOWN! CALM DOWN!
Give him a chance tonight please.
You never know..it might work.
And im confident that it will.
Arsene isnt nuts ya know.
Whenever ive seen sol play, hes so calm.Thats a great quality that we need right now.

Amen to that!
I'm telling you! We Gunners are the last forteress for passion of football, against all those inglorious basterds who believe money can buy you victory! Errr... ok I'm out...
The plus points for Wenger he is Free .And Free is his favourite word in the English language and he can play in the CL
But he hasnt played in top league for 9 months and there is a big difference in looking good in training and a premiership or CL game. This is a massive gamble

I agree with you Donaldo,
But I rather Wenger makes a big gamble than he does nothing. Must say that admiting so makes me kind of sad...
His record for us 1st time around in the Premier League was amazing. Just seen it on SSN. Won 87, drew 33, lost 15.
I guess the only good news is that at least we've got someone who knows the top levels of the game as a 4th choice centre back. Otherwise it was Tweety and then down to Bartley given Wenger was refusing to play Senderos (who I still think is our third best centre back).
