I bet he goes to liverpool and smashes it. And we will end up regretting not spending the £5 million last summer.

Whats peoples views ?

Apparently it's a £25m deal.

They're welcome to him.

And people wonder why Liverpool are skint :?

Just spoke to my Liverpool mate an its not quite the £25M just the way it's been reported. However it's still a Ridiculous deal!

As he's on a free in the summer his allowed to talk to clubs six months before the contract ends. (Similar to Flamini)
They'll get him to sign him now. The deal is £60K a week on a 5 year. Plus they'll give him £12M.

I asked about the £12M. Obviously if it was a transfer they should have him playing now. I know you can pre-arrange a transfer but that would be madness seeing as his free in the summer.
Appearantly, the £12M is a signing on fee!

So the £12M plus the £15M+ in contract is the £25M+ Deal talked about.

I'm no expert on the financial sides of things but I don't see how, given their current financial situation, Liverpool can carry on spending pretty large sums on the likes of Maxi Rodriguez & Chamakh without making real offloads, especially with no guarantee of Champions League income next season. The banks are really gonna be on their backs. Surely they can't have got much for Dossena, Voronin, possibly Babel etc :?

Dossena £4.5M
Voronin £1.5M
Babel reportly £9-12M

Blinding, they sell three players (from an already weak squad) to sign a player who's a similar risk to the Babel they signed a few seasons ago.

As far as im concerned Liverpool are welcome to him i saw video clips of him on youtube before the transfer window shut and he can be hit and miss at times and he seems a troublesome bastard as well. i would much rather a 20 goals a season player like Torres if only. :D
