As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Just back from the game. Reebok is a dump in the middle of a huge retail park. Good result and the team seemed up for it. Almunia still a liability and interestingly saw Sagna bollock him at one point to the effect of 'just calm down, will you?!'. Being told to calm down by a man 7-8 years your junior...
Gallas looked nervy as a result i felt - wasnt getting the calls from Al. Vermaelen and Cesc looked great. Traore awful. Arshavin looked half arsed/knackered. Nice to see Clichy back not least because he always shows appreciation for the away support. Haven't seen it back yet but looked like a few penalty decisions and yet again Rosicky booked for his first foul while others hammer away at our players ankles for hours.
Still nice to grind out a result but i'm not sure it means anything for the title - we ground out a result there 2 years ago and still came unstuck. A keeper is a must, followed by a defensive midfielder and a tall striker.

Only heard it on the radio but you and the traveling support were loud and proud - again. So much so that you even got a compliment from Allen Green
The first 20 minutes Traore sounded all over the shop and we were denied at least one penalty by all accounts. But we won and conceeded nowt !
I hope Ramsey is fit for Wednesday. He'd make a difference.

Unbelievable!! Alan Green is the moaniest whingiest *word censored* ever... for example, last week he moaned that arsenal managed to the their game to go ahead!
Was he feeling unwell today?
drop arsh, he is a liability and a team can only carry 2 poor players, we had arsh, traore and al we cant keep covering for these guys especially when it comes to chavs, manure etc
In an ideal world yes it would be nice to give him a kick up the arse but doing it now would be cutting off nose to spite face territory.
Don't understand what he gives, so if he gives fuck all drop him and play someone that gives even a little and yes why not vela, to be fair wenger would give as much to the game as arsh.
Drop him and play someone with a hunger for the game cos he as sure doesn't have any.

and eduardo
Yes agree, forgot him but we are winning games carrying some poor performances from certain players and if we add a couple of players in the transfer window or get players beck from injury then we should drop some if not all the afore mentioned players.
We miss rvp the most imo and arsh, edd and bendtner combined couldn't lace his boots as a forward

You could play the same team as today, but bring Nasri in for Ashavin when he's recovered from his injury.
Shaky at the back but a vital win, cesc is so important for us. He now completly runs matches, looks physically stronger this season.
Still need a striker up top, we need a bigger presence up there, eduardo looked better than the previous weeks but still doesnt cut it in the forward three.
3 points on wednesday and we put pressure on chelsea

I noticed Sagna doing that last weekend... bollocking both Almunia and Traore. I like Sagna, his recent form has improved too. Would make a very good stand in skipper imo
