Walcott and Denilson to return against Bolton on Wednesday

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just wondering what are peoples thoughts on here?
Will Theo show some good football, or are we going to be seeing more theo bashing topics on here after the match  :( :?

Playing against a bunch of neanderthols like Bolton theo should be fine, its when defenders make him think he suffers.

Surely this depends on how Walcott plays !? :?

If he puts in a Burnley type performance then he will receive a lot of stick. Just as Adeybayour received the same, after his woeful exploits against Man U in the CL Semi.

It isn't hard to work out.

No one has a vendetta against 'Theo' - contrary to what may otherwise be thought.

But no one had a vendetta against our Togo mate, either.

Let me put it this way :-

'When you don that Arsenal shirt and you cross that white line, you give everything - and I mean everything - for the duration of the match. Whether you are being paid £6 per week, £60 per week, £6,000 per week or - as in Walcott's case - £60,000 per week.

It's not a difficult concept to grasp. Try ! and the fans will - generally - back you.

Play like you don't want to know - and they'll give you the Bird.

Easy !

denilson intercepts passes, scores some very nice goals as has very good work rate.

theo walcott runs and runs and then loses posession.

i'd have denilson over walcott even on the wing every day of the week

Ahhh BG, on your beloved Denilson again.

I like the guy but he just isn't up to it yet. Left wing though, mmm, why not - if we can play Diaby there

Denilson played well at the start of the season, but that's because he was pushing forward more. He's by no means a DM.

Eastmond all the way (the kid's gotta learn, and this is one of the better games for him to learn in)

Hang on Rob, you think Theo doesn't try?? :?

I can understand fans not thinking he's very good, but I've never really thought Theo's effort has been lacking... just quality. Oh, well.

Alligning myself with bg is unfamiliar ground for me but I have to agree that denilson has contributed far more than theo has when he has played this season and I am basically underwhelmed by the return of our "young superstar"

Do both of them improve the team? No.
