"Walcott can play as a striker even if he is more a winger" I think that confirms Arsene's views on Theo's development and it is clear that Theo playing as a ST is like Diaby playing as a DM
Orelse his abilities mirror that of AA then Theo will never be a striker because so far he hasn't been giving a chance in that position and it looks like the wing is where his future lays.

Cant remember the last time he did that, Ramsey does a better job of it than Theo.
In the end, pace is his only attribute and it is clear he hasn't improved on anything else which is a shame.

the only advantage of him being bloody injured all the time is that he should be fit going into the last months of the season, the majority of players will have been through a whole season ahd he is coming in fresh.

pace alone is futile - he has to keep the ball / pass the ball / strike in a proper way
cost £10,000,000 in 2006 and really hasn't developed or produced anything. All that has happened is that he's joined the group of injury prone players we have.
He has speed but no eye for the pass, football brain and no positioning sense.
i'm upset by walcott's development, but i think we are all being a little harsh on him. i don't think he can be a world beater anymore, but i think he can still develop into a good player IF he manages to stay fit for longer periods.
anyway, we're stuck with him, so let's try and give the boy some support. he tries hard, we cannot say he does not.

He can stay fit until he retires but until he learns how to read the game and how to best utilise his natural talents he won't develop into anything more effective than your average Championship-class player.

Stuck with him until we can find someone daft enough to pay £15m+ for him.
