How long is left in the wonder of you

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I am not saying that I don"t like the song, or that I don"t want it as our theme tune. I am just saying it is not working at Ashburton Grove. Nobody is singing along and if it does not start working it may go. My question is this. Who believes that the club will scrap it?

I agree it just doesn't work. As an anthem it's not stirring enough, it doesn't make the hairs stand up on the back of the old neck. It's too much like a "Song done in the club style..." unfortunately.

The more I look back on this whole thing the more I think it was a dodgy idea; you can't fabricate an anthem, it has to grow naturally I think, otherwise it'll always feel forced and fake.

A shame really, because anything that helps the atmosphere is welcome, but this song isn't doing it... :(
