Just seen that our best keeper has today had his loan at Brentford extended until the end of the seasondigger wrote:Call Sczezney back from his loan.

He is rubbish. I think I'd have the No 1 from every other Premier League ahead of him, including Gomes and the Fat Bloke at Burnley.
Effort? First goal Bolton scored the other week he could have dived to try and save it, he didn't. 4-0 up against AZ and he couldn't be arsed to dive so they scored a consolation.
Rat face's goal in the 4-4 last seasn, FFS!!
He is useless and all our defenders know he's useless, so he's got no authority with them.

Ok..but we are 3rd in the league. How many shots has he had to face in comparison ? IGoonanana wrote:From Football 365
* 17 Premier League goalkeepers have been credited with more saves than Manuel Almunia in the Premier League this season. Four of those goalkeepers have played fewer games than the Spaniard.
Is there maybe a shot save % stat ?

Excately! All those stats are subjective and can be viewed however you wish to take them.
Wasn't Denilson the best midfielder in the country a while ago?
How many chances did Man U have? Officially the stats for that game were 3 shots. So if he scored an OG did he save 1? Or is that counted in the stat. Therefore none were saved.
The same can also be said for Everton game.
As soon as the balls past the back line, I've personally no confidence in him making the block. I soley relying on the player to miss.

I never felt this about him last season...thaught he was a decent goalkeeper, never a world class keeper and always regarded him as a keeper who would never win you a game but would also never lose you a game.
Anyone remember the first leg against Manchester United in the Champions League, he pulled off a couple of genuinly world class saves that game and was dominant and commanding, since then there has been a rapid decline starting with letting in that 35 yard free kick from ladyboy in the second leg.
These days he's losing us points ever game and patience is at breaking point. I think everyone knows it, the options are limited. My friend is a Brentford season ticket holder and he has nothing but praise for the Polish keeper, says he has been one of their players of the season and is over the moon he is staying till the end of the season.
He was also fantastic against WBA in the League Cup, can't see why we're not giving him a go.
I would in fact put Bob Wilson with his dodgy hip in goal now over Almunia, the worst number one keeper the club has ever had
